Hiring Consultant / Firm for conducting 05 days capacity building
session on ‘Advocacy and Influencing in Humanitarian Response’
Shifting the Power Project is a consortium project of
Action Aid, CAFOD, Christian Aid, Tearfund, Concern and Oxfam that aims
to support local actors to take their place alongside international
actors in order to create a balanced humanitarian system.
It will strengthen local and national organizational
capacity for decision making and leadership in humanitarian response,
support local organizations, to have greater representation, voice and
recognition in relevant networks and platforms, and at the same time
influence international organizations, to promote the role of local and
national actors.
The project is a START Network project supported by
the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID)
through the visionary Disasters Emergency Preparedness Programme (DEPP).
Shifting the Power is going to hire a consultant individual/ organization conduct a 05 days training session on “Advocacy and Influence in Humanitarian Response
” to strengthen the capacity of local NGO partner staff to advocate
with local and national level stakeholders in context of humanitarian
response.
